More than 200 vendors will be ready to buy, sell and trade
this weekend at the 19th annual Triad Antique and Collectible Toy, Doll & Sports Card
Show at the Greensboro Coliseum's Special Events Center.
Inside Pitch Promotions will present the show, which will
feature more than 350 tables of new and antique toys, NASCAR memorabilia, comic books and
sports cards.
``Some toys date back to the 1800s,'' says Ray Mozingo of Inside Pitch Promotions.
But the show promises to offer newer collectibles, too.
Vendors will have have Barbies and action figures, including Star Wars memorabilia,
Mozingo says.
Visitors also may take their own items to sell to vendors.
Doors open at 10 a.m. both days. Organizers will hold
drawings for 10 $50 door prizes during the weekend.
Visitors can buy three-day passes for $25 if they want to
shop Friday while dealers set up, or they can buy preview passes for $12 and get in at 9
a.m. Saturday. Sunday admission also is included.
